Medical Billing Agent Full Time NEW

Hire Resolve’s are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join their medical billing team as a Medical Billing Agent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately billing and collecting payments from patients and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient data capturin
• Billing for a variety of Specialist Doctors, Allieds, GP’s
•  Have expert knowledge of charge codes and ICD10 codes for all Specialist doctors, Allieds and GP’s
• Billing optimisation
• Understanding and adhering to the various medical aid agreements in terms of billing
• Attention to detail and abide by each practice’s specific requirements
• Handle billing queries
• Double–check/audit billing
• Record keeping of queries
• Keep up to date with new billing rules in the industry by any means necessary.
• Follow the SAMA billing guide
• Receipting and distribution of billing (when the supervisor is on leave)
• Excellent communication

Qualifications:

• Minimum Matric
• Basic and Intermediate ICD-10 coding
• 3 Years

Salary:

Salary for this position will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
