Junior Software Developer Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a Junior Developer, to join their team in Port Elizabeth, KZN. The primary purpose of this role is to be a great developer. You will form part of a larger development team and will regularly engage with your teammates and our clients to design, develop, test, implement and support the solutions that we have in place, and the solutions that we are planning to build. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions within the company.
• Provide internal and external support for clients and company teams.
• Write and implement high-quality, high-performing code to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Develop, maintain, and implement software tools, processes, and procedures to optimize workflows.
• Conduct research and development (R&D) to explore innovative solutions and improvements.
• Test and evaluate new technologies to enhance system capabilities and performance.
• Analyze and make sense of complex, often illogical solutions and processes to improve functionality.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance software quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers from other teams to ensure the best possible software solutions.
• Document software solutions and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Follow strict source control procedures to maintain version integrity and code security.

Requirements: 

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant qualification or related experience in software development.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and communication.
• Proficiency in C# for software development and application programming.
• Experience with .NET framework for building scalable applications.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server for database management and optimization.
• Familiarity with WCF and REST Web Services for service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project management.
• Expertise in APIs (REST) for integrating and developing web services.
