Junior Setter Full Time

A leading packaging manufacturing company is seeking a Junior Setter to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with setting up and adjusting blow moulding, injection moulding, and related packaging machinery

• Support product changeovers to ensure minimal downtime

• Monitor machines during production and report malfunctions or quality issues

• Conduct routine quality checks on finished packaging products

• Perform basic preventative maintenance and cleaning tasks on machines

• Assist senior setters or technicians with troubleshooting and repairs

• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant work areas in line with food safety and ISO standards

• Complete shift logs and production records accurately and on time

• Adhere to health, safety, and operational procedures at all times

• Work shifts and weekends as required, maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality

• Develop technical skills under supervision with the goal of becoming an independent machine setter

  Ability to work independently and under pressure in a food manufacturing environment
  

Requirements:

• Minimum N3 Mechanical Studies completed

• A minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience

• Stretch blow moulding is an advantage

• Must be able to work shifts and weekends

• Own transport is essential

• Excellent attendance and good time keeping
