Internal Sales Administrator Full Time NEW

A leading non-destructive testing (NDT) company is looking for an experienced Internal Sales Administrator with strong experience in internal sales administration, customer service, quotations, order processing and commercial administration to join their team in Vereeniging. The successful candidate will provide professional internal sales, customer service and administrative support while managing the full Enquiry, Quotation and Order (EQO) process and coordinating with Sales, Procurement, Stores, Dispatch, Finance and Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer enquiries, quotations and sales orders accurately and timeously.
• Prepare professional quotations and confirm pricing, stock availability and delivery requirements.
• Process sales orders and maintain accurate customer records on CRM and ERP systems.
• Follow up on quotations, open orders, backorders and customer requests.
• Provide professional customer service and support to customers and external Sales Representatives.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Dispatch, Finance and Operations to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Assist with customer delivery queries, returns, credits and documentation requests.
• Maintain sales administration reports, quotation trackers and order status updates.
• Ensure all customer and sales documentation is complete, accurate and audit-ready.
• Support sales growth through proactive customer engagement and effective follow-up.
• Send order confirmations and keep customers updated on order status.
• Perform costing of special transactions.
• Manage customer consignment warehouses.
• Assist walk-in customers.
• Generate customer accounts and maintain accurate customer data on the ERP system.
• Work with the Expediting team to meet customer delivery commitments and drive gross profit.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Diploma or relevant qualification in Sales Administration, Business Administration, Customer Service, Supply Chain or Logistics.
• 2–5 years’ experience in Internal Sales Administration, Customer Service, Sales Support, Order Processing or a similar commercial administration environment.
• Experience preparing quotations and processing sales orders.
• Experience working with ERP, CRM or sales administration systems will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of NDT will be advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good planning, organising and prioritisation skills.
• Strong administrative and data management abilities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Professionalism, confidentiality and integrity.

• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
