Engineering Manager Full Time

Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join a prominent client based in Secunda, Mpumalanga. This role offers a chance to significantly impact engineering operations in a vibrant industrial setting.

As the Engineering Manager, you will lead the engineering team, oversee project management, and ensure effective resource allocation. You will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of engineering tasks, enhancing operational efficiencies, and maintaining high safety and quality standards across all engineering activities. This role is critical to optimizing processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering department to drive performance and efficiency.
• Oversee engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Implement safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff, providing coaching and professional growth opportunities.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Conduct regular assessments of engineering operations and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering management within an industrial setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in project management and process optimization.
• In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
