Engineering Manager Full Time

Our client urgently requires the expertise of an Engineering Manager in Cape Town, and Hire Resolve is facilitating the search.

As the Engineering Manager, you’ll oversee the company’s engineering operations, leading a team of engineers, coordinating projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative engineering team focused on innovation and technology application to achieve strategic objectives.
• Identify, test, and adopt new technologies, aligning them with business opportunities.
• Plan, execute, and sustain the implementation of technology solutions.
• Establish strategic technical partnerships with technology providers.
• Provide technical expertise to support various business functions.
• Manage project priorities and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
• Inspire a culture of continuous innovation and creativity.
• Coordinate engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Analyse data and implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet company goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics).
• 10+ years of experience in automation and machine-building engineering.
• 5+ years of effective people management experience.
• Proven track record in product development and project management.
• Strong technical background with expertise in automation tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent planning, organizing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
