Demand Planner Full Time

Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is currently seeking a talented Demand Planner to join our client in the FMCG industry, in Cape Town. As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in analysing sales data and market trends to forecast demand and ensure optimal inventory levels. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies that meet customer demands while minimizing costs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data, demand patterns, and consumer behavior
• Assess supply market dynamics, supply capacity, and supply channels
• Develop and implement seasonal procurement plans
• Manage master scheduling and inventory replenishment
• Utilize Blue Yonder forecasting system for demand predictions
• Optimize stock service levels, inventory return, and category profit profiles
• Continuously monitor and report on execution metrics
• Maintain internal and external stakeholder relations
• Leverage stakeholder networks to identify new business opportunities
• Apply digital technologies to enhance business processes, culture, and customer experiences

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2 years of related experience (preferably as a Demand or Merchandise Planner)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) Planning is an advantage
• Willingness to work long hours during peak times
