Civil Engineer Full Time

Hire Resolve, a leading engineering recruitment agency, is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our client’s team in Johannesburg.

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining various civil engineering projects in the Johannesburg area.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all design and modeling aspects within the municipal services realm – from planning, conceptual design to detailed design and construction drawings specific to land development and municipal infrastructure. (Roads, stormwater, water, sewer, telecoms, bulk earthworks)
• Develop specifications, BoQ’s, cost estimates, and prepare final tender documentation.
• Prepare reports required by the project, implementation of all relevant codes of practice and ensuring that all work complies with Zutari ‘s quality control procedures and is implemented to SANS 1200 or relevant requirements
• Must be able to work in a team to support a leader but also take the lead on project designs.
• Ensure that required drawing standards are maintained, construction supervision, and deliver excellent client service while being client facing.

Requirements: 

• BSc or BEng or B. Tech in civil Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in land infrastructure, specific to municipal services / built environment, in both public and private sectors
• Must be proficient in Civil 3D , AutoCAD and MS projects.
