A well-established organisation operating within the mining and industrial sector is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join their team in Rustenburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships and providing technically informed product solutions to clients within the hard-rock underground mining environment.
:
✅ Matric / Grade 12.
✅ Relevant technical, engineering, sales or mining qualification will be advantageous.
✅ Minimum 5 years’ sales experience within mining, industrial, engineering or a related environment.
✅ Proven experience selling into hard-rock underground mining operations, preferably within the PGM sector.
✅ Strong technical knowledge of underground mining consumables and equipment.
✅ Experience with products such as valves, snatchblocks, mining hoses and related mining/industrial products will be highly advantageous.
✅ Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
✅ Strong business development and relationship management skills.
✅ Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
✅ A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively are essential.
✅ Strong computer literacy and experience with CRM/sales systems.
