Technical Accountant Full Time

Job Title: Technical Accountant

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Accountant to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations, as well as experience working with technical accounting concepts and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Research and interpret complex accounting rules and regulations, such as GAAP and IFRS.
• Provide guidance and support to finance and accounting teams on technical accounting issues.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
• Stay current on new accounting standards and regulations and develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits.
• Assist with the implementation of new accounting software or systems.
• Monitor and evaluate internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
• Support management in making informed financial decisions based on technical analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required;
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical accounting or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-accounting professionals.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
