Survey Superintendent Full Time

Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Survey Superintendent to join their mining company based in the Free State. You will be responsible for managing surveying operations to ensure accurate measurements, legal compliance and effective operational support.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise surveying activities to support operational performance and compliance.
• Coordinate survey plans, measurements, reporting and production surveying activities.
• Ensure accurate survey data, plans and measurement systems are maintained.
• Implement and monitor surveying standards, procedures and legal compliance requirements.
• Coordinate the effective use of surveying equipment and external service providers.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and support operational planning requirements.
• Monitor departmental budgets, cost control and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Lead and develop survey teams to support operational and business objectives.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Mine Surveyors Certificate of Competency
• Diploma or Degree in Surveying/Mineral Resource Management
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the mining industry
• Registered with IMMSA will be advantageous 
• Valid Driver’s License
