Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer/Technologist to join our Clients team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of solid design experience in the structural engineering field.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and analysis of structural components and systems
– Preparation of construction drawings and specifications
– Coordination with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
– Site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications
– Project management and coordination of engineering teams
– Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
– Professional registration as a Structural Engineer or Technologist (advantage)
– 5-10 years of experience in structural design and analysis
– Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
