Senior Reporting Accountant – Mining Industry Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client, a renowned mining company based in Rivonia, is urgently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mandarin Speaking Senior Reporting Accountant to join their team. The company is known for its commitment to excellence and offers a challenging and rewarding work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards
• Timeous and accurate monthly, quarterly , half year and full year reporting to Hong King in Mandarin
• Calculation, preparation and submission of relevant taxes
• Manage external auditors relations not in SA
• Assist in supply information to internal auditor ( Hong Kong/China)
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Manage the financial close process and perform month-end and year-end activities
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Monitor and review accounting processes and systems for efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
