Senior Mechanical Engineer – Mauritius Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Mauritius.

Requirements

• +10 years experience in within the HVAC field
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Must have experience within the contracting / construction environment
• Fully conversant with HVAC shop drawings and construction drawings

• Experienced in AutoCAD

Responsibilities:

• Manage the site operations of HVAC contracting
• Assist in the preparation of shop drawings
• Perform design calculations for air-conditioning equipment installations
• Follow-up on actions agreed upon during site meetings
• Prepare and submit reports for mechanical works in air-conditioning
• Follow-up on clients’ queries-operational and technical issues
• Prepare quotations, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and claims
• Effect troubleshooting and commissioning of HVAC installations and VRV systems
• Supply equipment and sub contract services pertaining to mechanical works in air-conditioning
• Ensure that the team members adhere to H&S policies and procedures
