Senior Materials Technician Contract

Hire Resolve is currently hiring a Senior Materials Technician (Civil) for their client in Cape Town. Positions are Cape Town based specifically at the CTIA for a Taxiway upgrade project which is scheduled to commence in September 2024

Requirements: 

• Minimum National Diploma (ND) in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Registration with ECSA is advantageous.
• 5-8 years of experience in managing a road construction materials laboratory.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of specifications and Bill of Quantities.
• Experience with managing Quality Control and a Civil Materials Laboratory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong client and contractor relation skills.
• Relevant experience with City of Cape Town projects is advantageous.
