Senior Manager – Logistics Industry Full Time NEW

Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to join their team as a Senior Manager in the Logistics Industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all logistical operations within the company’s KwaZulu-Natal branch, ensuring the efficient and timely transportation of goods and products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics operations and minimize costs.
• Oversee the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply and minimize excess stock.
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and transportation partners to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Analyze and report on key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior logistics management role within the transportation/warehouse/logistics industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Solid understanding of logistics software and systems.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and cost reductions.
