Senior Cloud and Identity Specialist Full Time

A company that provides comprehensive, end-to-end logistics and freight forwarding solutions, specializing in air, ocean (FCL/LCL), and road freight, is seeking a Senior Cloud and Identity Specialist who will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s cloud and identity infrastructure. 

Responsibilities: 

• Identity & Access Management: Architect and optimize identity solutions using Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Silverfort, and CoreView.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Manage Azure ecosystems including Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, and API Management; implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated deployments.

• Security & Governance: Enforce Zero Trust models, RBAC, and PAM; manage PKI/SSL lifecycles and DNS security to ensure compliance with frameworks like ISO27001 or GDPR.

• Collaboration & Leadership: Provide technical mentorship to the Global Cloud team and partner with stakeholders to align IT strategy with business goals.

• Modern Workplace: Oversee the architecture and security of Microsoft 365 and Exchange environments.

• Innovation & Support: Lead high-level incident resolution and evaluate emerging technologies to maintain a competitive, secure edge.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree: BSC IT, BTech, or equivalent tertiary qualification.

• Longevity: 10+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Specialist in complex IT ecosystems.

• Cloud Mastery: Extensive background in designing and managing Microsoft Azure solutions.

• Identity: Expert-level Active Directory, Entra ID, and modern auth (OAuth, SAML, MFA).

• Automation: Proficient in PowerShell or Python for infrastructure automation.

• Networking: Deep understanding of hybrid architectures, firewalls (Palo Alto), and cloud-native security controls.

• Data & Backup: Experience with Azure Storage, SQL databases, and Defender for Cloud/Azure Backup.

• Preferred Skills (Advantageous)

  • Familiarity with Silverfort, CoreView, or AvePoint.

  • Knowledge of SQL Database management.

  • Understanding of POPI / GDPR / ISO27001 compliance standards.
