SAP CPI Developer Full Time

The role requires hands-on expertise in integration patterns, cloud connectivity, API management, and troubleshooting complex integration landscapes. The candidate will collaborate with functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance integrations.

Responsibilities: 

Design & Develop Integrations

• Build integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), including:
  • Message mapping
  • Routing
  • Data transformations
  • Exception handling
• Develop integrations between SAP S/4HANA and third-party systems.
• Implement and configure integration adapters, including:
  • SOAP
  • REST
  • OData
  • IDoc
  • SFTP
  • JDBC

Integration Architecture & Best Practices

• Apply enterprise integration patterns and SAP CPI best practices to ensure:
  • Performance
  • Reusability
  • Security
• Design scalable integration frameworks using:
  • APIs
  • Event-driven architecture
  • Microservices (where applicable)

API Management

• Work with SAP API Management to:
  • Design APIs
  • Configure security policies
  • Manage API lifecycle
• Publish, secure, and monitor APIs for both internal and external consumers.

Testing & Deployment

• Perform:
  • Unit testing
  • Integration testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support
• Manage iFlow transport across environments.
• Ensure proper version control and deployment practices.

Monitoring & Support

• Monitor SAP CPI message queues and integration processes.
• Troubleshoot failed messages and optimize integration performance.
• Provide L2/L3 support, including root cause analysis and issue resolution.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Produce and maintain:
  • Technical design documents
  • Mapping specifications
  • Operational guides
• Collaborate with:
  • Functional Consultants
  • Business Analysts
  • Project Managers
  • Development teams

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Enterprise integration patterns
  • Message mapping
  • XSLT
  • Groovy scripting
  • JavaScript
• Experience with:
  • SAP BTP
  • SAP API Management
  • SAP Cloud Connector
• Solid understanding of:
  • IDoc
  • BAPI
  • RFC
  • OData
  • REST
  • SOAP services
• Experience integrating SAP solutions such as:
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP IBP
  • SAP Concur
• Knowledge of security concepts, including:
  • OAuth
  • SAML
  • Digital certificates
  • PGP encryption
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred: 

• SAP CPI or SAP Integration Suite Certification.
• Experience with:
  • SAP Event Mesh
  • Integration Advisor
  • Open Connectors
• SAP ABAP and OData development knowledge (advantageous).
