Quantity Surveyor Full Time

Are you a detail-driven Quantity Surveyor with a passion for structural innovation? A leading South African consultancy is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Krugersdorp, Gauteng. This is your chance to work on a variety of structural projects that include steel-framed reinforced concrete, composite systems, timber, and masonry across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.

As part of this forward-thinking practice, you’ll be involved in:

• Projects from conceptual study phases through to execution, evaluating multiple structural systems to meet strength, cost, and aesthetic goals.

• Collaborations with structural engineers and architects on complex builds.

• Utilizing various design packages for structural and civil analysis, including static and dynamic load considerations.

• Applying your working knowledge of SABS codes (0400, 0100, 0160, 0162, 0163, 1200, etc.), modern construction methods, and materials.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying

• SACQSP Candidate Registration

• 2–7 years of relevant experience

• Exposure to commercial, industrial, or residential structural projects is highly advantageous
