A leading professional services firm specializing in quantity surveying and cost management for major infrastructure and building projects, is currently seeking a highly experienced Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) to join their Richards Bay team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong technical expertise and a track record in both civil engineering and building projects.
Manage and oversee quantity surveying duties for building and civil engineering projects from inception to completion
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities, and tender documentation using WINQS and DimX
Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis
Monitor project costs and progress through MS Project and on-site inspections
Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure effective cost control and delivery
Provide professional advice and support on contractual matters
Regular travel to multiple construction sites as part of project requirements
10+ years of post-qualification experience in building and civil engineering projects
Proven background within a well-known and reputable PQS firm
Professional Registration as a PrQS with SACQSP
BTech or BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying
Proficiency in WINQS, DimX, and MS Project
Willingness and ability to travel extensively to construction sites
