Professional Accountant (SA) Full Time

Hire Resolve has partnered with a company based in Pretoria, which is looking for a Professional Accountant (SA) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accounting and tax-related duties; managing an accounting portfolio; and providing insight, supervision (where applicable), and review of the portfolio’s month to month.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure on-budget completion of field work, adhering to policies
• Provide technical training and support to team members
• Create client reports and manage accounting budgets
• Monitor budget performance and evaluate against targets
• Review tax returns and allocate work on engagements
• Maintain strong client relations and oversee CIPC administration
• Meet set targets and communicate monthly plans

Requirements:

• SAIPA / AGA(SA)A qualification
• 3+ years’ relevant experience (including articles)
• Proficient in IFRS for SMEs, IFRS, and taxation
• Strong admin and project management skills
• Proactive, leadership-oriented team player
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Effective planner with adherence to values

Benefits:

• Salary: R360K/yr, salary negotiable
