We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Prof Architect (PrArch) to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and design, with a proven track record of successful projects. The Prof Architect will be responsible for leading a team of architects, designers, and engineers to create innovative and sustainable designs for a variety of projects.
Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage a team of architects, designers, and engineers
– Develop and review architectural plans, designs, and specifications
– Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
– Manage project budgets and timelines
– Develop concepts and proposals for new projects
– Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
– Conduct site visits and inspections as needed
– Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
– Professional registration as a Prof Architect (PrArch)
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management
– Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software
– Excellent communication and leadership skills
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
