Product Application Engineer Full Time

A leading engineering and industrial solutions company specializing in power transmission and gearbox technologies, is currently seeking a Product Application Engineer to join their dynamic Gearboxes team in Parkhaven.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving or exceeding company sales targets by applying technical expertise to position gearbox solutions as best-in-class within the industry.
• Provide technical sales support and product application guidance to customers, field sales teams, and internal sales staff.
• Develop and implement market saturation plans with measurable objectives alongside the Gearboxes team.
• Train and support branch teams on product offerings and total cost of ownership (TCO) solutions.
• Utilize the company CRM system to manage sales opportunities, customer interactions, and action plans effectively.
• Continuously enhance and share product knowledge within the Gearbox team.
• Prepare monthly reports on market trends, competitor activity, product developments, opportunities, and business challenges.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Sales Teams to improve resource deployment and technical capabilities.
• Contribute to gearbox business plans and participate in monthly team reviews and strategy discussions.

Requirements

• Technical Degree, Diploma, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or technical sales support.
• Thorough knowledge of gearbox products and industrial applications.
• Technical foundation combined with a strong sales orientation.
• Valid driver’s license.
