Payroll Clerk Full Time

Job Title: Payroll Clerk

Hire Resolves client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join their team as a Payroll Clerk in Strand, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing and maintaining accurate payroll records.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for all employees on a timely basis
• Ensure accuracy of all payroll data, including hours worked, taxes, and deductions
• Prepare and distribute paychecks or electronic deposits to employees
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues
• Assist with payroll reporting and analysis
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information
• Work closely with HR department to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records

Requirements: 

• Advanced working knowledge of Sage Pastel VIP Payroll (non-negotiable)
• Knowledge and experience working with ERS Biometric clocking system will be advantageous.
• Grade 12
• Minimum three years payroll experience
• Solid knowledge of payroll principles, processes and procedures
• Detailed knowledge of statutory requirements i.e. PAYE, UIF, SDL, COIDA
• Good understanding of and working knowledge of all the appropriate Acts (LRA, BCEA, OSHA,
• COID, EEA)
• Computer literate with strong MS Office skills
• Own transport
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
