Operations Specialist – Investment Industry Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client in the Investment Industry is urgently seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join their team in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Position within the operations team, principally as an operations specialist.
• The Purpose of this role is to contribute to and promote robust operating procedures across the investment management business to create and efficient, responsive and process driven operations team
• Assist with investment reporting and analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize operational processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes
• Provide support to the investment team in various ad-hoc tasks as required

• Appropriate finance qualification: Chartered Accountant. Specialist qualification in financial services would be advantageous.
• Self driven with at least 2-5 years working in operations in the financial services industry( Preferably in fund management)
• Experience with reconciliations and cash management essential
• Strong communicator and team player
• Relevant computer skills and systems experience , including advanced excel skills. Experience in a programming language would be advantageous but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large sets of data
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Salary: Market Related
