Mineral Process Engineer Full Time

An engineering firm based in Cape Town offering integrated and collaborative engineering, design, consulting, and project management solutions is looking for a to join their team! This is an exceptional opportunity to learn and grow in a multi-disciplinary project house.

Key requirements:

• Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering degree (B.Eng/BSc. Eng).
• 5-7 years of industry experience.
• Versed in mineral processing treatment plant design.
• Technical writing skills for developing documentation (BoDs, PFD, Process descriptions and control specifications)

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment sizing calculations and selections.
• Development of process mass balances.
• Designing mineral processing plants.
• Equipment testing and inspections.
• Plant commissioning.
• On site plant audits.
• Onsite troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Client and Vendor interactions.
• Training of plant operators during commissioning.
