Mechanical Draughtsman Full Time NEW

An engineering firm based in Cape Town offering integrated and collaborative engineering, design, consulting, and project management solutions is looking for a to join their team!

Requirements: 

• Drafting Certificate/Diploma
• 3-5 years experience in mining/mineral processing/engineering industry
• Good background of mechanical drafting and drawing standards
• Able to read process diagrams eg. Flowsheets and P&ID’s
• Good skills in Autodesk programs (3D AutoCAD Required)
• Autodesk Advance Steel/Autodesk Plant/Revit will be advantageous
• Knowledge of NAVISWORKS Manage will be an advantage

Responsibilities: 

• Interpret plant layouts and 3D models.
• 3D modelling and generation of 2D shop details of plate work such as chutes, sumps, bins, wear linings etc, including provisions for instrumentation, piping, and equipment interfaces
• 3D modelling of structures, stairs, flooring, handrailing, including generating of 2D shop details
