Hire Resolve is seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated Junior Compliance Manager to join a leading Financial Services Provider (FSP) based in Pretoria, Gauteng. Reporting to senior compliance leadership, this full-time role focuses on supporting regulatory compliance frameworks, conducting FAIS and FICA monitoring, reviewing operational policies, and assisting with regulatory reporting.
Regulatory Compliance Monitoring: Conduct ongoing compliance reviews and risk assessments to ensure alignment with FAIS, FICA, POPIA, and key FSCA regulations.
Policy & Process Maintenance: Assist in drafting, updating, and implementing internal compliance policies, standard operating procedures, and risk management frameworks.
FICA & AML Screening: Review client onboarding documentation, perform anti-money laundering (AML) verification, and conduct PEP/sanctions screening.
Reporting & Documentation: Compile monthly compliance reports, track regulatory action logs, and assist with statutory filings to regulatory bodies.
Compliance Advisory & Training: Provide basic compliance guidance to internal operational teams and assist in delivering ongoing regulatory awareness training.
Education: Relevant Degree in Law (LLB), Commerce, BCom Law, or Compliance Management.
Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a junior compliance or regulatory risk role within the Financial Services / FSP industry.
Regulatory Knowledge: Sound understanding of FAIS Act, FICA, POPIA, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), and FSCA regulatory requirements.
Certifications: CISA / Compliance Institute South Africa membership or progress toward RE1/RE5 qualifications is highly advantageous.
Skills: Exceptional analytical capabilities, precise report-writing skills, high ethical standards, and strong communication abilities.
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng (Full-Time, Onsite).
Remuneration: R20,000 – R24,000 CTC per month (R240,000 – R288,000 per annum).
