An automotive component manufacturing company based in New Germany is seeking an IT Manager who will develop and execute an aligned IT strategy that maximizes technology investments to meet core business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Formulate and manage an IT strategy integrating OT, AI, Cloud, Data, and process automation.
Partner with Executive Leadership and Head Office to align IT initiatives with business goals and cross-functional needs.
Drive digital transformation, eliminate operational inefficiencies, and present monthly/quarterly reports to the IT Steering and Executive Committees.
Oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and system operations to ensure high availability and stability.
Manage the ERP environment, overseeing upgrades, patches, integrations, and third-party vendor support.
Oversee Industrial Control Systems (ICS) to ensure proper governance and integration between manufacturing IT and Corporate IT.
Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing IT team focused on continuous improvement.
Educate stakeholders across business units on IT capabilities, value creation, and system optimization.
Oversee cybersecurity, data integrity, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.
Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
Manage risks and resolve vulnerabilities identified during business process reviews.
Manage the IT budget, technology procurement, and capital expenditure planning.
Negotiate contracts and manage SLAs with external vendors and third-party service providers.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in an IT leadership role.
Technical Expertise:
Strong background in Software Development, Database Design, and Business/Systems Analysis.
Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms, Virtualization, Operational Technology (OT), and Enterprise Systems (ERP).
In-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity, Networking, Infrastructure, and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
