A leading company in the consumer goods and distribution sector is looking for an International Purchasing amp; Customs Entry Clerk to join their team.
Requirements
✅Grade 12 / Matric required.Relevant qualification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, ✅Logistics, Imports/Exports or a related field will be advantageous.
✅2–4 years’ experience in international purchasing, imports, customs or a similar role.
✅Practical experience with customs entries and import documentation.
✅Experience dealing with international suppliers and freight forwarders.
✅Strong understanding of the import and customs process.
✅Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
✅Experience working on an ERP or purchasing system will be advantageous.
✅Strong administrative and organisational skills.
✅Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
✅Strong communication and negotiation skills.
✅Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
✅A proactive approach with the ability to follow up effectively with suppliers and service providers.
