Job Description:
We are seeking an Intermediate Technologist/Architect to join our team and contribute to our projects. The successful candidate will work closely with senior architects and other team members to develop design concepts, produce technical drawings, and manage construction projects.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with senior architects to develop and refine design concepts
– Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings using CAD software
– Assist in the preparation of project specifications and documentation
– Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure quality control
– Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers
– Stay current with industry trends, building codes, and regulations
– Participate in client meetings and presentations
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology
– Professional registration as a PrArchT, PrSArchT, or PrArch
– Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in architectural practice
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
– Strong technical skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
– Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building practices
