Hire Resolve is currently working with a reputable Construction company who is looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Centurion, Johannesburg. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to grow their career within a well-established company.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
• Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
• Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
• Performing risk, value management, and cost control.
• Advising on legal, contractual, and commercial issues.
• Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders.
• Allocating work to subcontractors.
• Providing advice on contractual claims.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders within the construction industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or similar field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and quantity surveying software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Must be willing to travel to project sites as required.
