Industrial Engineer – Plastic Manufacturing Company Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Engineer to join their team at a leading plastic manufacturing company in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering and manufacturing processes, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce waste
• Design and implement new manufacturing processes and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules and maximize output
• Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and optimize workflow
• Develop and maintain production standards and guidelines for quality control
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement
• Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and technologies
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in industrial engineering

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems, particularly in the plastics industry
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and practices is a plus
