Graduate Structural Engineer Full Time

Hire Resolve, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our client’s team in Umhlanga. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and gain valuable experience in the field of structural engineering. You will be involved in the design, analysis, and documentation of various structural elements under the supervision of senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of structural elements
• Prepare technical drawings and documentation
• Conduct site inspections and assist with construction supervision
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and project managers
• Implement engineering principles and standards
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
• 2-5 years building structures design experience
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and structural analysis
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Prokon, Tekla, Etbas and Revit software would be advantageous
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Previous internship or work experience in structural engineering is desirable
• Knowledge of construction methods and codes is a plus
