General Manager
A great mining company in Northern Cape is seeking the expertise of a General Manager to join their team.
Essential Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree / Diploma in Mining Engineering
- Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
- Management Development Programme
- 10 – 15 years’ experience in an underground mining environment
- Minimum 5 years as a Mine Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Optimal profitability of the operation is achieved
- Achieve production, safety, and costs within the boundaries of the relevant Rules and Regulations
- Develop a 2-year budget within a 5 year context
- Funds are strategically allocated or withheld
- Plan strategic funding for major projects
- Implement and maintain company Vision and Values
