Are you a senior finance professional with extensive banking experience and a strong background in financial strategy, treasury management and regulatory compliance? This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance leader to take ownership of a Finance Division and contribute to the strategic objectives of an established banking institution.
The successful candidate will lead financial planning and reporting, oversee treasury operations, manage regulatory requirements and provide strategic financial insights to Executive Management and the Board. This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and in-depth knowledge of the banking industry.

What You Need:
CA(SA) or a similar relevant professional qualification.
At least 5 years of previous banking experience.
Strong knowledge of financial management, taxation, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
Sound understanding of IFRS, banking regulations, Reserve Bank reporting requirements and Basel III.
Experience in liquidity management, treasury operations, investment evaluation and treasury risk management.
Proven ability to oversee financial statements, management accounts, regulatory returns, budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Executive Management, the Board, auditors and other stakeholders.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with strong systems and technology capabilities.
Excellent strategic thinking, analytical ability, decision-making skills and project management experience.
