Financial Analyst

An industry-leading company is currently seeking the expertise of an experienced Financial Analyst to join their team in La Lucia, KwaZulu-Natal.

Key Purpose:

Assist Financial Manager in managing all financial accounting processes to ensure budgets are met and to optimize the business’s financial performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified CA
  • 3 years of accounting experience in an Insurance/Financial environment.
  • IFRS 17
  • Qualified CA(SA)

Must be familiar with:

  • Long-Term & Short-Term Insurance Act, Companies Act, VAT Act, Income Tax Act, Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, Financial Intelligence Centre Act and be familiar with the IFRS 17 standards.

Preferred

  • At least 3 years of additional long-term and short-term insurance experience within the finance department.
