Job Title: Financial Accountant

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of managing financial processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
– Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
– Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
– Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
– Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial compliance and transparency
– Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support
– Stay current on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
– Professional qualification such articles completed with SAIPA/SAICA
– Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting or related role
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
– Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
