Financial Accountant Full Time NEW

Hire Resolves client is looking for a junior experienced Financial Accountant in Pretoria, who has completed their SAICA/SAIPA Articles. This Financial Accountant must have high energy levels and show a very good tolerance to stress. Willingness to Learn: Ongoing education and training in field is the hallmark of a good Accountant. They must stay up to date on the latest trends and information.

Responsibilities: 

• Monthly bank statement processing on Pastel Partner.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Monthly VAT201 & EMP201 submissions.
• Bi-Annual EMP501 submissions.;
• PROVTAX calculations.
• Customer & Supplier invoice capturing.
• Journal capturing.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  

Requirements:

• Microsoft Office skills – Outlook & Excel (advanced).
• 3 Years’ SAIPA/SAICA articles (NB).
• BCom Accounting or BCom Financial Management (completed).
• Sage Pastel Partner skills (advanced)
• ACPAS skills (advantageous)
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Bi-lingual (Afrikaans & English)
• Effective time management skills.
• Working across multiple data systems.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Good telephone etiquette. Team Player.
  
• Attention to detail.
• Willing to work overtime as and when required.
