Finance Manger Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client is currently looking for a highly experienced and skilled Finance Manager to join their team and lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our company’s financial strategy, planning, and budgeting processes to ensure the organization’s financial health and stability.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the operational financial activities of the company, including tax compliance.
• Control the company’s financial resources and ensure that all financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
• Ensure compliance is in line with the company’s requirement to have a level 5 B-BBEE rating.
• Analyse the company’s financial indicators to forecast its short, medium, and long-term cash flow position.
• Analyse required procurement spend and other B-BBEE level 5 spend and compliance.
• Work in conjunction with the company’s B-BBEE adviser and other external advisers, including financial and legal advisers.
• The role is ‘hands-on’ and will be responsible for leading the day-to-day financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of the South African IFRS for Small and Medium Sized Entities.
• Some experience of company tax, payroll taxes and VAT.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong presentation skills.
• Technology focused and data driven approach to delivering a finance function.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and its functions.
• Self-motivated team player, but also able to work alone.
• Relevant Diploma/Degree
• 2-4 years experience (relevant)
• Professional accounting qualification
