Finance Manager (12-Month FTC) – MINING Contract

Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for overseeing financial management, reporting, compliance, budgeting and financial controls while supporting senior management with accurate financial information and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily, monthly and year-end accounting processes.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Coordinate annual financial statements and audit requirements.
• Manage audit queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Review and submit statutory returns, including VAT and PAYE.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, legal and financial reporting requirements.
• Manage cash flow, creditors and debtors.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure accurate financial records, reconciliations and administrative processes.
• Lead, develop and manage the finance team.
• Provide financial analysis and support to senior management in decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry reporting and governance requirements.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Relevant degree in Accounting, Financial Management or a related field
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in a Finance role, with at least 2 years’ experience in a managerial position
• Experience within the mining industry is compulsory
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, taxation and statutory compliance
• Valid Driver’s License

Benefits:

• Salary: R900K – R1.3Mil P/A
