Field Sales Engineer Full Time

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly motivated Field Sales Engineer to join our client in Gauteng. As a Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales and generating new business opportunities in the assigned territory. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing technical support, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the entire sales process from initial client contact to contract closure
• Develop and maintain long-term contractual relationships with clients
• Manage advertising campaigns, company website, editorials, magazines, and social media platforms
• Communicate effectively with production, internal sales support, estimating, and branch managers
• Advise management on market conditions, product performance, and competition
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
• Track key sales indicators such as quote conversion ratio and invoicing against budget
• Resolve production and product issues with customers
• Study account operations and competitive activity to analyze performance
• Maintain industry and account databases

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in electronics manufacturing or industrial electronics, with a proven track record of increasing sales and providing technical and after-sales support.
• Solid knowledge of various electronics and wire harnessing products within the industry.
• Understanding of markets such as Automotive, Aerospace Automation, Defence Systems, Communication Systems, Tracking Systems, Domestic and Industrial Security Systems.
• Computer literacy including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook; experience with Syspro ERP system advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree ideally in Marketing, Communications, or Light Current Electronics.
