A leading engineering and mining-focused organisation is looking for an experienced External Sales Professional to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships, and providing technical sales solutions to clients within the mining and industrial sectors.
:
✅ Grade 12 / Matric.
✅ Relevant technical, engineering, sales or commercial qualification will be advantageous.
✅Minimum 5 years’ external sales experience within a mining, engineering, industrial or related environment.
✅ Proven experience selling into hard-rock underground mining operations, preferably within the PGM mining sector.
✅ Technical knowledge of underground mining consumables and equipment.
✅ Strong understanding of products such as valves, mining hoses, snatchblocks and related mining/engineering products will be advantageous.
✅ Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
✅ Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
✅ Valid driver’s licence.
✅ Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
✅ Computer literate with good CRM and Microsoft Office skills.
