Are you a highly experienced ERP specialist with a deep understanding of financial business processes in the FMCG sector?

A leading provider of sales and distribution business software solutions is looking for a motivated ERP Consultant to join their service delivery team in Rivonia. This role is critical for providing excellent application configuration, incident management, and business process resolution for clients across the South African and African continent.

Key Responsibilities

Client Support & Problem Solving

• Act as a technical liaison between clients and specialist internal resources to resolve software matters.

• Troubleshoot retail and distribution software issues professionally within the proprietary system.

• Ensure Service Quality levels are maintained and adhered to in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Project & Business Management

• Manage and complete business-critical projects timeously.

• Provide expert guidance on application configuration and documentation for diverse client needs.

• Assist with the configuration and optimization of warehouse management systems (WMS).

Technical Consulting

• Apply knowledge of best practices for month-end and year-end closing reconciliations.

• Analyze and resolve complex business process issues related to the General Ledger and Financial Statements.

• Travel nationally and internationally as required to support client operations.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

•  Education: Degree or Diploma with a strong focus on accounting.

•  Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Client Support Consultant, specifically in FMCG Sales & Distribution.

•  Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of retail, sales, and distribution business process flows.

•  Technical Expertise: Detailed knowledge of Cash, Inventory, and Financial cycles in an FMCG environment.

   

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Language: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential.

•  Proximity: Must reside within 30km of the Rivonia, Sandton offices.

•  Availability: Willingness to work non-standard office hours when required.

• Transport: Must possess reliable transport.  

•  Assessment: Successful completion of two assessments (FMCG and Financial) is required.
