Engineering Technologist Full Time

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Technologist to join our client’s team in Durban, South Africa. As an Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing various engineering projects, conducting research and development, and providing technical support to the engineering team.

Responsibilities: 

• Design and oversee the construction of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and specifications.
• Conduct research and development to improve existing engineering processes and technologies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team.
• Analyze data and test results to identify areas for improvement.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation and technical reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Pr.Eng/Pr. Tech. Eng or candidate with proof of registration progress is compulsory
• Minimum 10-15years experience in design, project & construction management of Civil Eng. Infrastructure.
• Must have knowledge, experience & be proficient with engineering software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD etc.
• Experience & proficiency with MS Office is essential
• Ability to produce design documentation and review drawings
• Project/Contract management & tender documentation experience is essential.
• Ability to write technical reports and tender documentation under minimal guidance
• Ability to engage with clients and other stakeholders
• Must have the ability and willingness to mentor others
• Valid Drivers licence.
