Engineering Manager Full Time

Position: Engineering Manager

Hire Resolves client currently seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join their team in Benoni, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the engineering department, ensuring the timely and successful completion of projects, managing a team of engineers, and implementing efficient engineering processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Plan, organise and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement engineering processes and standards to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Work closely with other departments, including production, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, as well as support in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the engineering team, providing feedback and training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (required)
• Proven experience in a similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in engineering management
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
