Document Controller Contract

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Document Controller to join a forward-thinking team on a high-impact Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project commencing this October. This 18-month contract will involve working across three nearby project sites, requiring a hands-on approach and a solid understanding of construction documentation in energy infrastructure environments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage and control construction documentation, drawings, revisions, permits, and compliance records.

• Ensure document workflows align with auditing standards and regulatory frameworks.

• Move between multiple project sites within close proximity to ensure consistent document control and site support.

• Support the broader project team in maintaining accurate, auditable, and accessible documentation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry, preferably within energy, mining, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Experience with power stations, solar, battery storage, or utility plants is highly advantageous.

• Holds a relevant Construction or Project Management qualification.

• Proficient in drawing control systems, revision tracking, and compliance documentation.

• Comfortable working on-site and managing documentation across multiple locations.
