Diesel Mechanic Full Time

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic for a construction company. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered equipment in various industries.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of machinery and vehicles, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs and maintenance. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of diesel-powered equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel-powered equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
  • Replace faulty parts as needed
  • Ensure efficient operation of machinery to minimize downtime
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements

  • Relevant certification or diploma in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in all aspects of repairs, welding, and maintenance of construction vehicles and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related components
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
