Demand Planner Full Time

Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is currently seeking a talented Demand Planner for a manufacturing company. As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in analysing sales data and market trends to forecast demand and ensure optimal inventory levels for our clients. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies that meet customer demands while minimizing costs.

Responsibilities

• Analyse historical sales data and market trends to create accurate demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather insights and align on demand expectations.
• Develop inventory strategies to meet customer requirements and minimize excess or shortage of stock.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, taking into account lead time, production capacity, and supply chain constraints.
• Conduct regular reviews of forecast accuracy and make adjustments as necessary.
• Identify and address demand-related issues, including stockouts, backorders, and overstocks.
• Stay informed about industry developments and market trends that may impact demand.
• Utilize demand planning software and tools to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Demand Planner or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in demand planning software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
