Construction Manager Contract

Are you ready to take charge of large-scale renewable energy projects in one of Africa’s most dynamic markets? A forward-thinking, international engineering firm is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a major solar PV infrastructure project based in Uganda.

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

• Registration with a recognized professional engineering body.

• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.

• 3+ years specifically in the construction and implementation of photovoltaic (PV) projects.

• Experience with CSP and Molten Salt storage projects is a strong advantage.

• Strong understanding of construction technical documentation, process control systems, and data-related installations.

• Familiarity with European technical standards and renewable energy regulations is beneficial.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and Revit.

• Exposure to PV design and simulation tools like PVSyst, PVSol, PVCase, and SAM is advantageous.

• Working knowledge of FIDIC contract standards, Primavera P6, MS Project, and Aconex software is desirable.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Base Location:

• Project Site in Uganda
